My name is David Schuhart. I have spent the better part of my life hiking with a camera, looking for the perfect photograph. I would like to share the far away places, strange and wonderful things I have seen through my camera with you.
In 1987, for High School Graduation
(from Oshkosh West High
School),
I was given my first good camera. From that day on, I was hooked! I spent 5
years in the US Army (20th Engineer Btln. out of Fort Campbell, KY)
taking photos every step of the way. After the Army, hiking trips were what took
up most of my free time with a camera in tow. After years of this &
100's of rolls of film, I found that I had a lot of photos. Friends that liked
my work asked why I hadn't tried to sell any? So...in 2002, I started going to
local art shows all over the State of Wisconsin showing off my work. That is how DRS Photos got its start. In 2007, I started going to Hunt Tests for dogs. It is fun, and I get to meet a lot of cool people. Today, I Live in Florida & am a member of the Gadsden Art Center. I also do home Portraits shoots as well as work out of my Studio. I guess you could say I work everywhere. Hunt Tests get me to travel, but I still love to get the best outdoor shots anywhere I can. Please Email or call to shoot shop or to make an appointment. In my photographs, I have attempted to capture the feel of the moment it was taken. I hope you find something in them that speaks to you!
Thanks again for your interest!
