As a disabled Army Veteran, the creation of art is essential to who I am, as well as positive therapy for my soul!

My first portraits as a professional photographer had been taken back in 2006 at AKC and UKC Dog Shows.  Working with trained dogs was challenging and rewarding.  At the same time, I picked up Photoshop.  With some tips from a local professional, I have gotten better than average at Photoshop.

Dog shows turned into family and Senior Photo shoots.  I quickly realized that I needed to know how to use off camera lights if I was going to be able to work in the studio as well as outdoors.  In 2008 I bought my first set of external slave flashes.

After a move to Florida and being hired by Lifetouch School Photography, I was quickly promoted to Photography manager & Lead Photographer.  I was sent to many schools and gave classes of my own at schools.  This includes a guest lecturer at Florida State.

After moving back to Wisconsin, I went back to work for myself.  Today, I use all the training and experience I have picked up along the way.
